Getting started

Do I need an account to use Bloo?

No. You can log dives right away without signing up — everything saves locally on your phone.

Creating an account unlocks three things: automatic cloud backup, syncing across devices (iPad, second iPhone, etc.), and being able to recover your logbook if you ever lose your device. You can sign up any time from the Profile tab — we'll migrate your existing dives over.

Can I use Bloo offline?

Yes. Bloo is offline-first by design. You can log dives, add photos, view your logbook, and check the map with no signal. Everything syncs to the cloud automatically once you're back online.

How do I log my first dive?

Tap the + button in the middle of the tab bar. The wizard takes you through three steps: Where & whenThe diveCapture. You can skip any field that doesn't apply — only the site and date are required.

Where are my dives stored?

Two places:

If you haven't created an account yet, your dives only live on this phone. Sign up any time to back them up.

Will my dives sync across devices?

Yes, after you sign up. Sign in on your iPad or second iPhone with the same email and your full logbook will sync down.

How do I move Bloo to a new phone?

Make sure you have an account first (Profile tab → Save my dives if you're still anonymous). Install Bloo on the new phone, sign in with the same email, and everything will
